So, in case you haven’t noticed, this entire site is all about marketing funnels.
In fact every single page on this site is essentially it’s own funnel.
Because funnels are incredibly powerful.
And they’re the most effective way to sell a product or service online.
So, what the heck is a funnel and why should you absolutely be using them everywhere for every single product or service you’re trying to market online?
A funnel basically takes the place of a what a great live salesperson – figuring out exactly what problem you are trying to solve, and then presenting you with a custom tailored solution.
Now, you can dive as far down the rabbit hole you want to go when it comes to mastering the art of online sales funnels, but there’s really only a couple of parts, and it doesn’t have to take years and years to master.
What Makes Up A Sales Funnel?
1) The OFFER – This is where crafting a compelling message comes into play and copywriting.
Now, while you can spend years of your life going through copywriting courses and books, you don’t have to.
There are simple tools and blueprints that make it dead simple to crank out sales letters and webinars that will convert right out of the gate, without decades of experience.
So, if you’re a beginner, I recommend starting there.

*Keep in mind the offer is different than the product. Yes, the offer includes the product, and while you want an excellent product that delivers on it’s promises…if you don’t have the skills to sell it, then you’ll never make any money. So, while this may be counterintuitive, you need to focus a LOT more energy on actually crafting an irresistible offer for your product as opposed to creating a stellar product. You can get by in the beginning with just a MVP (minimum viable product) – and you can always tweak the product and make it better over time.
2) The MECHANISM – After you’ve created your product and compelling offer, now you need a way to lead the prospect through your sales funnel and then deliver your product to them.
This is where landing page tools, sales funnel builders and membership sites come in.
Now, there are dozens of quality solutions that exist when it comes to these, but if you’re looking for a simple, affordable, all-in-one solution for creating sales funnels, then I recommend ClickFunnels.
Additionally, if the main focus of your business is a membership site, I would recommend Kajabi.
Yes, Kajabi is a little more pricey than ClickFunnels, but it has a lot of the same features as ClickFunnels, and other than sales funnel builder (which ClickFunnels does very well) Kajabi is an excellent solution for membership sites, and also has a really professional blog feature (something that ClickFunnels does not), that’s useful for helping you drive organic traffic and build authority for your brand and site.
3) The TRAFFIC SOURCE – The last piece of the funnel puzzle is a quality, targeted traffic source.
So, once you have your product created, your message and offer dialed in, and a way to get your prospects through the door of your online business and deliver the digital products they’ll be investing it, the only thing left to do is to start sending traffic to your offer.
This is where you’ll start to dial in your offer (which you will need to split-test and tweak) in order to optimize for conversions.
There are several options for traffic.
One of the most affordable and quality traffic sources is organic search engine traffic.
SEO or search engine traffic isn’t hard to acquire, but it will take some time to get going.
However, once you’ve built up a nice pipeline of organic traffic flowing to your site regularly, it usually continues for a very very long time, and it’s extremely targeted and higher quality that many other traffic sources, since those people are actually searching for you instead of being interrupted as with most paid traffic sources.

Another quick and popular traffic source to test out your offer is solo ads.
Solo ads give you the opportunity to pay someone who has a large, targeted email list to send out your offer to their audience.
This can be a great way to get a large number of eyeballs to your offer in a very short amount of time.
In my experience, solo ads can be sort of hit or miss, and there are a lot of shady vendors that exist.
However this is a solo ad vendor that I’ve used repeatedly and gotten excellent results with.
Finally, once you’ve got your offer dialed in and optimized for conversions, you’ll likely want to scale up…and fast.
To do this you’ll want to leverage large, popular paid traffic sources like Facebook, Google AdWords and YouTube.
Since I’m no expert in these areas, I would highly recommend investing in the AdSkills Bulletproof Bundle to learn and master all of the most popular traffic sources.
You don’t have to master them all at once.
In fact, I would suggest concentrating on one at a time until you’ve mastered it…and then move on to another one.
